Based in the heart of Worcestershire, we’re a vibrant and welcoming club that’s open to everyone—no matter your age, background, or experience. At Scarletts, we’re all about having fun, building friendships, and sharing our love of netball.
Scarletts Netball Club Terms & Conditions
By registering with our club, you agree to the following terms:
1. Safeguarding & Welfare
- We are committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment for all members.
- All coaches and volunteers working with children are DBS-checked and follow England Netball safeguarding policies.
- Any concerns can be reported confidentially to our Club Junior Officer, Leanne Abbatiello.
2. Payments
- Training fees must be paid termly or monthly in advance unless otherwise agreed.
- Match fees are payable per game or in advance for league blocks.
- Refunds are not typically offered for missed sessions unless due to long-term injury or exceptional circumstances.
3. Health & Safety
- Players (or parents for under-18s) must inform coaches of any medical conditions or injuries before taking part.
- Appropriate clothing and footwear must be worn.
- The club maintains a first aid kit and has trained first aiders present at sessions.
4. Coach & Volunteer Standards
- All coaches are appropriately qualified through England Netball coaching pathways.
- Volunteers and assistants are supported with relevant training and development.
- All staff adhere to our Code of Conduct and safeguarding procedures.
5. Player Code of Conduct
- Respect coaches, teammates, and opponents at all times.
- Commit to attending training and matches where possible and communicate any absences in advance.
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a supportive club environment.
6. Photography & Social Media
- We may take photos/videos during sessions or matches for promotional purposes.
- Please inform us in writing if you do not consent to your child (or yourself, if 18+) being photographed.
7. Data Protection
- Member information is kept securely and used only for club administration, safeguarding, and communication.
- We comply with UK GDPR guidelines.
8. Adult Members
- Adult players are expected to uphold club values, including fairness, sportsmanship, and support for junior development.
- Fees, conduct, and responsibilities apply equally to adult members.
