Based in the heart of Worcestershire, we’re a vibrant and welcoming club that’s open to everyone—no matter your age, background, or experience. At Scarletts, we’re all about having fun, building friendships, and sharing our love of netball.

Scarletts Netball Club Photography Terms & Conditions

By registering with Scarletts Netball Club, you acknowledge and agree to the following regarding photography and video recording:

1. Purpose of Media Use

Scarletts Netball Club may take photographs and/or video recordings during training sessions, matches, events, and presentations. These may be used for:

  • Club marketing materials (digital and print)
  • Official club website
  • Club social media accounts (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter)
  • End-of-season awards and celebration events
  • Coaching analysis and development (where applicable)

2. Safeguarding & Consent

  • All photography and videography will be carried out in accordance with England Netball and Child Protection in Sport Unit (CPSU) guidelines.
  • No photos or videos will be taken in changing rooms or bathrooms.
  • Group photos may be used without full names. Individual images with names will only be published with explicit consent.
  • Parents/guardians of junior members (under 18) will be asked to confirm their consent upon registration.

3. Opting Out

If you do not consent to your child (or yourself, if over 18) being photographed or filmed:

  • Please indicate this clearly on the registration form.
  • Alternatively, submit a written request to the Club Junior Officer or Club Chair at any time.
  • We will do our best to exclude individuals from media, but it may not always be possible to completely avoid incidental appearance in group or background shots.

4. Media Sharing

  • All photos and videos used will aim to reflect the positive, inclusive, and respectful values of the club.
  • Images will never be shared with third parties for commercial purposes without prior consent.
  • We do not permit parents or spectators to post photos of other children without parental permission.
